The Fun and Breaks (FAB) service run by West Sussex County Council needs new volunteers.

It helps encourage social activities and promote new experiences and independence for disabled children as well as giving families the chance to take a break.

Fun and Breaks is looking for people who are reliable, sensitive and caring and also able to work with families.

You don’t need to have any previous experience of caring for a child with disabilities as training and ongoing support is provided.

All volunteers are required to have a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Volunteers are matched with one family to provide support for about two hours
a week, at a time that suits both the family and the volunteer.

If you can spare two hours a week and would like more information visit the FAB website at westsussex.gov.uk/fab.

Alternatively call 01243 777100 or e-mail fab@westsussex.gov.uk.
