Globe-trotting Foggy the dog gears up for worldwide tour

Academics from the University of Portsmouth have created a video to wish their former student Timothy Peake good luck ahead of his mission to the International Space Station tomorrow.

Tim, who graduated from the University in 2006 with a BSc in Flight Dynamics and Evaluation and is set to become Britain’s first astronaut when he takes of from Kazakhstan at 11am.

To mark the launch date of December 15, the messages of support where recorded in 15 languages by staff from the Cosmology department, who uploaded the video to the institution’s YouTube channel.
