Tiger cubs fought over the cooling treats before chasing them into a pond as the mercury hit 26 degrees at a safari park.

The exotic predators were filmed hunting the homemade treats after keepers hid them throughout their nine acre reserve.

Two-year-old sister tiger cubs Milashki and Mishka were captured squabbling over the lollies before dropping one in a pool.

Black bears were also filmed wasting no time lapping up their frozen lollies to cool down at Woburn Safari Park in Beds.

The 110kg North American omnivores reveled at the discovery of a treasure trove of frozen lollies made of fruit and vegetables.

Meanwhile a troop of Barbary macaques plunged into a pool after gorging sugary lollies made of nuts, seeds, yellow peppers, radish and celeriac.
