JAZZ music rang out yesterday morning as part of an annual music festival.

Well-known local musician Robbie Rich performed for free at St George’s Church for the Waterlooville Music Festival, which runs all this week.

Festival-goers were also treated to a recital while they were having lunch by Gordon Egerton, on the clarinet, accompanied by pianist Margaret Lloyd.

Festival organiser Jane Rice-Oxley said: ‘It’s been an amazingly successful week.

‘Never before have we sold out all our evening concerts.’

The festival, which is in its 10th year, continues with free events every lunchtime.
