Kennels get a boost from recruitment firm

HEADLINE acts have been confirmed for this year’s Wickham Festival.

The four-day long music extravaganza will see The Proclaimers, 10cc, Billy Bragg, Wilko Johnson, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel and The South take to the stage.

More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the festival, which takes place on fields near Wickham on Thursday, August 6 until Sunday, August 9.

The festival is in its 10th year and was recently chosen as one of The Guardian’s top eight family-friendly festivals in the UK.

Other artists booked to appear include Tom Robinson, Andy Fairweather-Low, Seth Lakeman, Eliza Carthy, Kathryn Tickell & The Side, Show of Hands, Roy Bailey, Martin Carthy and Edward II. For more and tickets go to wickhamfestival.co.uk or call (023) 8071 1818.
