Win Illustrious print

ARTIST Julia Pankhurst painted this picture of Illustrious as the ship came into Portsmouth from a disaster relief mission in the Philippines '“ and you can win a print.

The iconic image captures the ship as she arrived back in the harbour, accompanied by tugs.

It was presented to the Queen’s niece Lady Sarah Chatto at the decommissioning in 2014.

Julia said: ‘The painting portrays an amazing celebration in sea and sky of a very great moment in the lifetime of our beloved Lusty.’

There are two prizes on offer – first prize is an extra large signed print (770x550mm), and the second is a large signed print (590x420mm).
