WOMEN who have set up their own businesses will be showcasing their work at a charity day in Westbourne.

The event has been organised by Westbourne Women in Business, a not-for-profit networking group for self-employed businesswomen in the Westbourne and Emsworth areas.

More than 20 women have already signed up to have a stall at Westbourne Parish Hall.

Every stall is £15 to hire and the total cash sum will be donated to Westbourne Primary School.

Organiser Emma Weatherstone said: ‘Ninety per cent of our members do not have a shop front. It’s all people who work from home.

‘This is an opportunity to come and see what businesses are doing behind closed doors and support local businesses.’

Exhibitors include arts, crafts, toys, fashion accessories, health, beauty and nutrition.

The event takes place on Saturday, July 6 from 10am to 3pm.
