DISABLED children became hopelessly devoted to the cast of Grease when they dropped in to give them a glimpse of 1950s rock ‘n’ roll style.
Leather jackets and bobby socks were the order of the day at the Rainbow Centre, Fareham, as leading characters from the hit show spent time with the youngsters who have cerebral palsy.
Among those performing at the Mayflower, Southampton, was Kate Somerset How, the daughter of Helen Somerset How.
She founded the centre after she gave birth to Tom, Kate’s twin, who suffers from the condition.
Kate said: ‘It was a fun afternoon, but a poignant one for me.’
