PEOPLE are being invited to choose an animal logo that will be used at a country park.

The 155-hectare Alver Valley Country Park is undergoing a development and Gosport’s council wants to know what people want on new signs and notice boards.

The options are the kingfisher, which can be seen on the River Alver and on the lakes in the park, the water vole which frequents the reed beds and the barn owl which can often be seen at dusk flying across the grassland.

Vote online at gosport.gov.uk or return the form in the council’s Coastline magazine, which was sent out to residents.
