YOUNGSTERS had a fun day playing with their parents when a toy library stopped off in Gosport.

The Tree House and Little Waves Children’s Centre runs mobile toy libraries for families to enjoy.

On Tuesday children at Elson Library, in Gosport, got their hands on some new toys as part of the mobile service.

Nicole Brown, the service co-ordinator for the children’s centre, said: ‘It’s incredibly important children get access to things like this because playing can also be very educational.

‘It’s also about dispelling the myth that playtime is only for children.

‘Parents can join in and it’s a good way to support them.’

The children’s centre also runs family learning courses, antenatal clinics, breast-feeding support and classes to support new parents.
