THE artists’ group Crafts in the Tower will be showing off its work to the people of Portsmouth.

This will be held earlier than originally planned and now takes place on Sunday, August 18 at Old Portsmouth’s Square Tower.

Returning will be photographer Jan Fowler with her views of local scenes and Judy Charlton with her collages.

As well as this, the public will be able to view Gary Renouf’s work in wood and Hazel Taylor’s textiles. There will also be regular exhibitors such as Mei Liang with her origami works and Cherie Lubbock with glass work featuring seaside themes.

The exhibition runs from 11am until 4pm.

The pop-up tea room will be open throughout the exhibition.

It will be serving scrumptious cakes and quality beverages.

Admission to the exhibition is free.

Crafts in the Tower gives people a chance to see pieces of art no-one has seen before.
