BULLYING in all its forms was discussed by secondary school students with their local MP during an awareness day.
Youngsters at Henry Cort Community College in Fareham spent a day with Mark Hoban for the unique anti-bullying themed event.
Cyber-bullying on social networking sites like Facebook, verbal bullying, mental bullying and physical bullying were all hotly debated and explored through role plays, TV reports and newspaper articles.
The students also created cartoons, posters, slogans and even made their own pop video on the subject of bullying.
Mr Hoban said: ‘I was really impressed by the students’ work. They spoke powerfully about the way Facebook and Twitter can be used to destroy children’s lives. It is vital pupils, teachers and parents understand and tackle these issues.’
