People are planning a candlelit walk in Portsmouth today to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks on Paris.

Walkers are being invited to meet in Guildhall Square at 5.30pm and then make their way to the Spinnaker Tower, which will be lit up in the colours of the French tricolour.

Once at the tower, there will be a minute’s silence. Before the march a speech will be given by Marion Forgeot, European Students Officer at Portsmouth University’s SU.

Anyone is invited to join in the walk.
