PORTSMOUTH residents are being asked on ways they think the city council could be more efficient, and which services they value the most.
The findings of the council consultation, which is scheduled to start next week and is based on four questions, will be considered when the council’s budget is set for 2014/15.

n Which council service are you prepared to pay more for?
n Which council service do you value most and would like protected?
The consultation runs from August 30, to October 1, and residents have the opportunity to give their feedback through a paper and online questionnaire.
Two public meetings are being held on the following dated, locations and times:
n Friday, September 20, in Springfield School, Central Road, Drayton, from 7pm to 9pm.
n Wednesday, September 25, in the council chamber, The Guildhall, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
