A FOOTBALL club is celebrating after being given nearly £5,000 for new portable dugouts.

Locks Heath Football Club got the £4,999 cash from Fareham Borough Council.

The new equipment will give players shelter and can be removed at night, avoiding vandalism.

The council’s community fund provided the cash.

It supports projects in the community or local environment.
