Community meeting in Stubbington

PEOPLE living in Stubbington will have the chance to bring up any local issues to their council at a meeting tonight.

The Crofton Community Action Team meeting (CAT) will take place at Holy Rood Church from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Residents will hear an update from the local police, and also about any recent bids for community funding.

Chairman of the Crofton CAT, Cllr Arthur Mandry said: ‘Residents will hear an update on the Solar Farm planning application on land between Fareham and Stubbington.

‘They will also get to hear a presentation on clothing and textile recycling in Fareham, as well as help name the new community North of Fareham.’

There will also be a chance for residents to ask questions and chat with their local councillors.

More information is online at fareham.gov.uk/cats or by emailing cats@fareham.gov.uk
