BUILDERS are asking to start work earlier in the day in order to get two salt barns finished in time for next winter.

Work began this week on building a new recycling centre and salt storage complex off Harts Farm Way, Havant. Hampshire County Council contractors have asked Havant council if they can start at 7.30am rather than 8am. A final decision will be made by the end of June.
