COUNCILLORS are set to freeze council tax for East Hampshire residents tomorrow.

It will mean the bill for a Band D property for the district council share of local authority services will continue to be £137.30 per year.

The budget to be approved for East Hampshire District Council covers the £12m costs of providing services.

The authority will receive a government grant of £1.9m for increasing housing as part of the New Homes Bonus scheme. The budget meeting takes place at Penns Place, Petersfield, at 6.30pm.
