AN UPDATE on plans to build an electricity interconnector will be given at a meeting.

Leader of Fareham Borough Council Sean Woodward will host the Community Action Team (Cat) meeting on June 28.

As well as an update on National Grid’s plans for the IFA2, Cllr Woodward will give a presentation on other initiatives in the town.

Chairman of Cat Cllr Kay Mandry said: ‘Come along to hear an update on IFA2 and find out what will be happening next.

‘There will also be a presentation reviewing the last 12 months in Fareham.’

Residents will also get the chance to raise any issues they may have about their area. It is at Holy Rood Church in Stubbington at 7pm.
