RESIDENTS are being encouraged to complete their electoral registration forms.

People in Fareham should receive their registration forms through the door over the next few days.

This is to ensure the electoral register is as up-to-date as possible ahead of next year’s elections, including European Parliament elections.

Residents are being encouraged to complete their form and return it promptly to ensure they can have their say.

European Parliament elections were last contested in 2009. Next year local council wards will also see local council elections.

Registering to vote is quick and simple. All you have to do is update the annual canvass form with details of everyone who lives in the household.

For more information call the elections team on 01329 824587 or visit aboutmyvote.co.uk.
