Fareham town meeting

MEMBERS of the public can have their say on community matters at a meeting on Thursday.

The next Fareham Town Community Action Team meeting (CAT) will take place at Ferneham Hall, Osborn Road from 7pm to 8.30pm.

The Fareham Town CAT chairman, mayor of Fareham, councillor Dennis Steadman said: ‘CAT meetings are an excellent place for residents to talk about what’s going on in their local area.

‘At this meeting there will be a presentation on the town centre action plan and people will have a chance to help improve clothing and textile recycling in Fareham.

‘They will also be able to vote for the name of the New Community North of Fareham.’

Residents will also have the chance to hear an update from the local police, as well as about recent successful community funding bids.
