PLANS to lease part of Gosport’s town hall to a communications firm would net the town’s council an extra £700 a year.
Communications giant Vodafone currently leases part of the roof of Gosport Borough Council’s offices for £5,600 a year.
But the firm’s lease has expired and a new firm wants to take over the lease for £6,300 a year.
Councillors will decide whether to approve the lease with Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Limited at a meeting of the council’s economic development board next week.
