MP CAROLINE Dinenage is urging organisations to bid for money to improve tourist experiences.

The Gosport MP has welcomed the opportunity for groups to apply for the money from the Discover England Fund.

It has been set up to build world-class tourism products and experiences that cater to the needs and aspirations of international visitors.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘Gosport has a wealth of maritime, naval and other tourist attractions and we should take full advantage of that.

‘Tourism generates about £106bn annually for the English economy and it would be fantastic to attract more of the tourism to Gosport.’
