A BRASS band has bought a tuba with a £2,695 grant from Fareham council’s community funding programme.

Spinnaker Brass, which rehearses at Fareham Academy, was in need of a tuba to complete its band.

Community Action Team chairman for Fareham South Trevor Howard said: ‘Spinnaker Brass often plays to entertain and raise funds for local causes. They are deserving recipients.’
