VISITORS will no longer have to avoid puddles of mud at a park thanks to a £582 grant.

The kissing gate leading to Seafield Park, in Hill Head is so well used it often becomes slippery with mud.

The grant from Fareham Borough Council’s Common Fund will pay for labour and materials to lay stones at the park’s entrance and the surrounding area to stop the entrance from becoming slippery.
