PLANS to turn a former naval base into a business park will be discussed at a meeting.

Gosport Borough Council has unveiled its draft proposals for what it wants to see on the HMS Daedalus airfield in Lee-on-the-Solent.

Residents are invited to share their views at a public meeting on February 17 at St Faith’s Church in Lee-on-the-Solent.

Councillors and council officers will attend to talk about the council’s ideas for the future use of the Gosport part of the Daedalus site.

The meeting starts at 7pm.

The plans can be viewed at the council’s planning department, the Gosport Discovery Centre, or at gosport.gov.uk/daedalus-spd.

Residents must have their say before the consultation ends on March 4.
