PEOPLE are being asked to have their say on dozens of sites earmarked for homes.
Havant Borough Council has begun a six-week consultation on its masterplan for the next 13 years. The Local Plan (Allocations) identifies sites to accommodate 2,800 homes, as well as areas for retail and employment. The document will be used when considering decisions on planning applications for development.
Councillor David Guest, who oversees planning, said: ‘Getting the Local Plan progressed so far is great. It will provide more certainty for investors and communities about the locations of future development and the delivery of new homes and jobs.
‘The Local Plan lays down the blueprint for how the borough will adapt over the next decade and beyond.’
The consultation ends on November 22.
