A COUNCIL is urging residents to comment on non-residential parking.

Fareham Borough Council is asking for comments on the draft parking guidance for non-residential development.

The guidance document provides details on how much parking should be provided to meet the needs of a wide range of commercial developments and community facilities within the town other than housing schemes.

The document can be seen and commented on by clicking on the link on the council’s website at fareham.gov.uk/have_your_say/consultations/current.aspx

Paper copies of the guidance can be viewed at the Civic Offices reception and at all libraries in Fareham.

Councillor Keith Evans, executive member for planning and development, said: ‘I would advise anyone interested in the new non-residential parking guidance to look at the information and comment on the proposed
document.’
