Have your say on improving recreation ground in Fareham

PEOPLE in Fareham are being asked for their views on improving facilities at a recreation ground.

Fareham Borough Council is considering revamping the leisure and recreational facilities at Park Lane Recreation Ground.

Residents are being invited to consultation sessions.

They take place tomorrow from 10am until 1pm at Fareham Leisure Centre, on Thursday, March 8 from 2pm to 4pm at the children’s play area, Thursday, March 15 from 5pm until 7pm at the leisure centre and on Saturday, April 7 from 11am until 2pm at the Park Lane skate park.

The sessions are open to all, and there will be designs and information boards on display to view and feedback questionnaires to complete.

Officers from the council will be available if residents wish to discuss the vision proposals in more detail.

Copies of the questionnaire have been sent to 400 households near to the park.
