INFORMATION about fostering will be available for people who might be interested in becoming foster carers.

Hampshire County Council’s fostering recruitment team will be at Fareham Shopping Centre to provide information and advice about fostering. It will also be joined by foster carers who will share their experiences and answer any questions.

Councillor Keith Mans, executive member for children’s services, said: ‘We always need all kinds of foster carers. Right now, we especially need foster carers who can look after older children and teenagers, children with disabilities or special needs, and sibling groups.

‘I would urge anyone who is considering fostering to talk to our Fostercare team.’

The event is on Thursday, October 16, from 4pm to 7pm.
