THE minister for civil society will visit Portsmouth next week to find out more about the Cities of Service initiative.

During his trip Rob Wilson will go to a school to discuss the Activate mentoring project that aims to find innovative ways to get people volunteering.

He will also be talking about the Pompey in The Community charity and the Love Your Street campaign this is backed by The News, Portsmouth City Council and volunteering service Portsmouth Together.
