Have your say

MOBILE library services across the area look set to be axed as part of a bid by Hampshire County Council to save millions of pounds.

A consultation has begun on whether the monthly stops in Catherington, Chalton, Rowlands Castle, Hedge End, Catisfield, Lower Swanmore, Titchfield, and Cowplain will go. The council say are underused.

At the moment there are four library buses, that will go down to three under the proposals.

There will also be restructuring in libraries in other parts of the county.

The deadline to submit your comments is May 2. The county council cosultation web page is here.
