GOSPORT Tory MP Caroline Dinenage joined fellow MPs to run a mile in support of Sport Relief.

She ran the ‘Westminster Mile’ in St James’s Park in London.

The run is one of many Sport Relief miles happening nationally, in which young and old across the UK take to the streets to challenge themselves, get active, raise cash and change lives.

Speaking after the race, Caroline said: ‘While I certainly wasn’t first past the finish line, I am delighted to have taken part in the Sport Relief Mile.

‘As we welcome the Olympics to the UK this year, there’s no better time to support Sport Relief as they raise money for a great cause through sport.’

The money raised by the MPs and the public for Sport Relief will be spent by Comic Relief to help people living tough lives in the UK and in the world’s poorest countries.
