TRAINING to help people with dementia feel included in the community is being held by an MP.
Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage is hosting a Dementia Friends training session this Friday following the success of one held last month.
The Dementia Friends initiative is led by The Alzheimer’s Society and aims to ensure that people living with dementia feel included in their community and gives people an understanding of the condition.
Ms Dinenage said: ‘I’m really keen to see Gosport, Stubbington, Lee-on-the-Solent and Hill Head become a Dementia Friendly area. It would be great to see as many people as possible there on the day.’
It is at Gosport Discovery Centre, at 1.30pm.
