A CENTRE which helps people through difficult times was visited by an MP.
Caroline Dinenage, Gosport MP, went to the Centrepeace Hub to learn more about the work they do.
The centre, on High Street, Gosport, is run by volunteers from the church community who offer a listening ear to those who feel that they cannot talk to family and friends.
They can also signpost people to various help agencies and offer short courses to those wishing to build up their confidence.
During her visit Ms Dinenage spoke with volunteers and clients.
She said: ‘Centrepeace offers invaluable help to those who feel they have nowhere else to turn.
‘I am extremely proud that such an organisation is operating in our area.’
