A NEW toucan crossing will be installed in Park Gate.
Hampshire County Council has agreed that a signal-controlled crossing for pedestrians and cyclists will be installed on the A27 Southampton Road as part of wider improvements to roads in the area.
The cost to provide the crossing, together with the general pedestrian and cycle route improvements, is more than £360,000.
Work to install the crossing is expected to start in February and will take around three months.
