THE government’s planning inspector has upheld an appeal to build a bungalow in the garden of a property.

In April East Hampshire District Council turned down an application to build a two-bedroom, single-storey home, with a new road, at the back of a house at 43 Chalton Road, Clanfield, Waterlooville.

Developers appealed against the decision and have been told they can now build the property.
