LEGAL papers giving the owners of South Parade Pier notice of court action that’s being taken against them are to be served ‘imminently’.

That’s the message from Portsmouth City Council, which is taking Fred Nash and Dawn Randall to court over a row about safety work it says is needed at the ageing seaside attraction in Southsea.

As reported in The News, both parties are set to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on March 31. A time is yet to be set.
