A PLANNING application has gone in to a council to turn a former school into accommodation.

Matt and Angela Hopkins have applied to Fareham Borough Council to turn the former Wykeham House building in High Street, Fareham into a private house.

The building used to house the school’s intake of boys, after it started accepting them into the all-girls school in 2013. Last month, the school announced that it would close at the end of this year due to financial pressures. Most pupils have already been re-schooled.
