PUBLIC exhibitions will show residents, businesses and commuters a council’s plans to improve the roads into Fareham and Gosport.

The exhibitions will give members of the public a chance to see Hampshire County Council’s detailed road layouts for the next phase of works and talk to the project team.

The plans on show will include: A27 St Margaret’s Roundabout improvements, A27 from Segensworth to Titchfield, A27 Bishopsfield Road to Station Roundabout and Fareham Railway Station forecourt improvements.

The exhibitions are being held:

n Monday, from 1pm until 8pm at Fareham College, Bishopsfield Road and again on Monday, June 29 from 1.30pm until 8.30pm.

n Tuesday, June 16 and Thursday, June 25, from 1.30pm until 8.30pm, at Titchfield Community Centre.

Transport boss Sean Woodward said: ‘Congestion and journey time reliability is a real problem in this area and improving the transport network will undoubtedly encourage new investment and development.’

The plans will also be shown at Fareham Library from Monday until Friday, July 24 and at hants.gov.uk/transport-schemes-fareham
