PLANS to transform derelict land owned by former Pompey boss Harry Redknapp will be discussed tomorrow.

Developer McCarthy & Stone will talk more about how it wants to build retirement homes and properties providing care on the site of the former Savoy buildings, opposite South Parade Pier in Southsea.

A representative from the developers will talk more about the proposals at the Royal Beach Hotel in Southsea at a meeting of East Southsea Neighbourhood Forum, which starts at 7pm.

Other matters to be discussed include the future of The Pyramids Centre and bids to improve land near Canoe Lake.
