CAMPAIGNERS calling for Portsmouth residents to vote to leave the EU have taken to the city’s streets.

Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt and other supporters of the so-called Brexit bid took to Commercial Road, urging people to vote to leave the European Union as part of the EU referendum on June 23.

Ms Mordaunt said: ‘This is such an important moment for our country, we will never get another chance in our lifetimes to make this decision.

‘Europe is incapable of reform and we need a better deal both to thrive economical and protect our national security.’

Those against the move say leaving the EU could put up to three million jobs in the in jeopardy if the UK goes it alone.
