DETAILS have been released about the first Portsmouth City Council meeting of the new year.

The authority’s economic development, culture and leisure scrutiny panel will meet on Monday, January 9.

Members will continue a review into how Portsmouth can become more of a ‘smart city’ – one that has greater use of IT to control the council’s assets. The panel will also consider evidence from officers on how IT is being used to help residents.
