Ever wondered exactly what your local MP does when they’re away at Parliament?

Independent website They Work For You has compiled statistics for all 650 MPs, as well as Lords, to let people know how active their elected member is in parliamentary life.

Using the site’s data The News can reveal how many times our Hampshire MPs have got involved in debates and questions over the last year, what they have been discussing, and how often they have been in Parliament to vote on key issues.

A word of warning from the website though- this data is largely numerical and does not measure of the quality of the debate or question.

The data does not also reflect other work done by MPs, including committee work, meeting constituents and other campaigning.
