Developer targets Warsash countryside for housing despite council rejecting former proposals

PEOPLE are being encouraged to take part in a public consultation over plans to improve leisure and recreational facilities in Fareham.

Fareham Borough Council is considering making improvements to the facilities at Park Lane Recreation Ground.

The improvements will include providing a new children’s play area, expanding the current skate facility, installing outdoor gym equipment and providing a new all weather multi sports facility.

The next consultation session will take place on Thursday at the children’s play area, with the Fareham Borough Council Play Rangers from 2pm until 4pm.

Councillor Connie Hockley, said: ‘I would encourage residents to come along to view design illustrations and to find out information on the proposals. Fareham Borough Council officers will be there on the day should local residents wish to discuss the vision further.’

Other sessions will take place on Thursday, March 15 at Fareham Leisure Centre from 5pm to 7pm and on Saturday, April 7 by the Park Lane skate park from 11am until 2pm.
