Have your say

FAREHAM Borough Council is looking for private landowners who could help it provide sites for travellers.

And it is urging residents to have their say as part of a consultation on gypsy and traveller sites in the borough, which runs until July 22.

As part of its local plan, the council is proposing five additional pitches across two existing sites at The Retreat on Newgate Lane and at 302A Southampton Road. But the council is also prepared to consider alternative sites in order to ensure its overall requirements are met.

Consultations can be submitted by completing the online survey at fareham.gov.uk/consultations, or call 01329 236100 for a paper copy.
