A PLAY park is in line for a £70,000 refurbishment including a roundabout suitable for wheelchair users, a trampoline, rope swing and more.

The contract for the work at Stubbington Recreation Ground play area was awarded to Wicksteed Leisure by Fareham Borough Council last week.

The upgrade follows a consultation held earlier this year and the work is expected to be completed by the spring.

As reported, Wicksteed Leisure will also carry out a £70,000 refurbishment of the play area in Segensworth Road, in Titchfield.
