AN MP has unveiled new photo artwork on his mobile surgery van that has become a regular sight across his constituency.

George Hollingbery and his staff use a converted kebab van to hold regular surgeries in places such as Waterlooville and Bishop’s Waltham where local people can bring up issues.

Over the past four years Mr Hollingbery has also been asked for doner kebab and chips a few times and one constituent even started talking about a medical condition until she was gently told it was not that kind of surgery.

Mr Hollingbery said: ‘The kebab van has been a great success and is well known now but, like me, it was getting a bit older and careworn, so we decided on a revamp.

‘It’s really worked well in helping us meet people and keep in touch with what they are really saying.’
