TWO play areas have been refurbished and are open in time for Christmas.

Stubbington and Segensworth play areas were revamped by Fareham Borough Council after consultation with park users and residents.

The work was carried out by Wicksteed Leisure and cost £140,000.

These are the last of six new play areas that have been installed in Fareham in 2015 with another four scheduled for 2016.
