CHICHESTER residents fear they would be cut off if libraries are closed as part of a county council shake-up to save £1m.

A major review is focusing on 24 ‘community’ libraries, three of which are in Southbourne, the Witterings and Selsey. Selsey Town Council parish clerk Gill Jennings said: ‘We would be cut off from everywhere else if it was to close.’
